Okay I couldn't wait until the end of the day. I know it's true but at the same time having been stuck at the same weight for 5 years I feel I must have done something wrong. Yet every time I think about it I smile and feel very proud.
I didn't sleep well last night so this morning when the alarm went off I just wanted to stay in bed and get more sleep. I do thinki I dozed for 3 minutes but my mind kept thinking 'If you don't workout out now when will you workout, what will you do today for your workout if you have limited time. You need to weight in, get out of bed.' So at 7:27 am I did get out of bed, put on my weigh in and measurement clothes and...
I am 187 lbs (that's down 5 lbs) and over 5" in total. Here is the breakdown.
My neck is 14" (down 1/8", woohoo)
Shoulders 46.5" (down 1/2")
Biceps 13.75 (they grew 1/4")
Chest 42" (down 1 1/2")
Waist 43.5" (down 1 1/2")
Hips 47" (down 1")
Thighs 27.5" (down 1/2")
Calves 15.25 (down 3/4") and my soleus looks beautiful bulging out beside my calf. I look when you can see the two distinct muscles in the back of my lower leg.
So I am proud, reinspired and excited to move on with my day. People are going to wonder what my smile is about but I will be very pleased to share, or maybe I should let them guess, I am sure their thoughts may be equally interesting.
Yesterday I was thinking how nice it will be to wow people at the bus stop when jacket weather is over and I come out looking thinner, stronger and healthier.
Thank you for all your encouragement so far. It has been great being able to share this with all of you. Wishing you health and vitality today and always. - Michelle

ReplyDeleteGreat job Crystal, congratulations. The key is to find activities you really enjoy and will work nicely into your day. Make sure you prioritize your work outs otherwise they will be the first thing to go in a busy schedule. Remember the reasons why you are losing weight. For me I do it to spend a lifetime with my kids and to enjoy the remainder of a long life that would be shorten if I don't care for myself properly.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear how your journey progresses. Keep me up to date and thanks for your support.
