So excited

I know it is early in the day to be blogging however I am so excited. I just did my "I'm a busy woman no time to spare" workout and I did the full minute of gate runner on both legs during my first set and 50 seconds on my second set. Woohoo. I am so pleased with myself. Hooray Michelle. When I started this workout I could only do 30 seconds so I feel this is a big accomplishment and I just had to toot my own horn.

Tomorrow is weigh in day and I am so excited. My Mom yesterday said she noticed I was slimming down, this time tomorrow I will know for sure. Some people have asked me what my goal is. I can't believe I forgot to write it down. I want to get down to a size 7 clothes, or 135 lbs. The weight doesn't bother me if I am lovely and sculpted since muscle weighs more than fat, it is the dress size and appearance I am looking for. So for me that means roughly 60 lba and 9 dress sizes. My goal is to get there by January 31st 2011, though I want to hit my target sooner. Once I reach my goal I will be getting my tattoo in celebration of Elizabeth, a poppy with the words "lest we forget" and her birthdate 11/11/04. The poppy is for remembrance day, the lest we forget for an awesome birth, and this journey to a healthier, stronger, better me.

Today Elizabeth has gymnastics and Marc is out so the plan is to get on the elliptical after lunch and now that my evening is free do some fun activity after the kids have gone to bed. maybe some belly dancing I haven't done that in a long time. That sounds like a great reward after today's accomplishment.

Oh and another thing last night after my class I came home to pizza, I ate one slice of veggie pizza at 9 pm but I was hungry. From 9:20 - 10:30 pm I found myself craving something sweet but I drank water, and went to bed early with Marc and didn't indulge, in food anyway.

  1. Congratulations on your successful first week. No matter what the "weigh in" says, you have certainly started on some fabulous life habits. Cheers!
